ClearPass Certificates

The previous certificates that allowed wireless devices connections to the LAUSD network have reached their expiration 10-year expiration date. If you have a wireless device that is not connecting, the old certificates will have to be removed and the new ones will have to be installed.

How do I connect to the LAUSD Wi-Fi?

Mac and iOS devices

Open your settings app.
Select Wi-Fi settings.
From the list of Wi-Fi available, choose LAUSD (DO NOT CHOOSE LAUSD-Guest or LAUSD-IOT)
For Username, enter your LAUSD username.
For Password, enter your LAUSD email password.
Click Join
When Prompted with the certificate screen click Trust.

Windows devices

Open your network settings.
From the list of Wi-Fi available, choose LAUSD (DO NOT CHOOSE LAUSD-Guest or LAUSD-IOT).
For Username, enter your LAUSD username.
For Password, enter your LAUSD email password.
Click Connect

Chromebook and Android devices

Open the network setting in the lower right-hand corner of your Chromebook screen.
From the list of Wi-Fi available, choose LAUSD (DO NOT CHOOSE LAUSD-Guest or LAUSD-IOT).
In the settings window:
1. Change EAP method to PEAP
2. Under EAP Phase 2 Authentication, select MSCHAPv2.
3. Change Server CA Certificate to Do Not Check
4. In the Identity field, enter your full LAUSD Username.
5. In the Password field, enter your email password.
Click Connect.

How do I change my Single Sign On password?

Go to the SSO Management link, once you are redirected to mylogin.lausd.net, select the role for the user you are updating the credentials for.
Select the option, "Change your current password, or review and update information about yourself.". Read BUL-999.13, A.K.A, "Responsible Use Policy (RUP) for District Computer and
Network Systems". Checkmark the box for the condition, "I agree to the terms and condition of LAUSD" and click "Accept".
Continue to fill out the online form with the user's information to complete the password reset.

Where can I access my employee paystub?

Users connected to the LAUSD network can view payroll information including access to all their pay stubs, time reported, tax documents such as W2 and W4 forms online from any device.

Go to: ess.lausd.net
When prompted, log in using your LAUSD single sign-on (SSO) account.

User who are located off campus must go through the VPN portal.
